Partnering with the University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology for Cancer Treatment About You
Metro Health is raising the level of quality patient care, collaboration and community access through a joint venture with the University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology. The new partnership has brought radiation oncology services to the new Cancer Center at Metro Health Village...providing comprehensive care in a pleasant, therapeutic environment. The new center also features an extension of the Warren Reynolds Cancer Resource Library, a service of the Lacks Cancer Center at Saint Mary's Health Care.
Nestled in a peaceful setting, the new 21, 500-square-foot Cancer Center offers a broad range of cancer services and gives local patients access to cutting-edge clinical trials close to home. The location on a secluded southeast corner of the 170-acre Metro Health Village was specifically chosen for the tranquil atmosphere that provides a spiritual, social and visual respite for patients and their families.
