The Metro Health Stroke Unit is an integral component of our Joint Commission certified primary stroke center. Our physicians and nurses receive specialized stroke training which ensures stroke care excellence. Admittance to the Metro Health Stroke Unit initiates secondary stroke prevention, stroke rehabilitation and education.
Spine Care
Many people come to Metro Health looking for pain relief in their back, neck, arms or legs. Our spine specialists diagnose and treat patients for these types of issues. Sometimes surgery is the answer to alleviate the pain. Patients who require hospitalization following spine surgery receive care from our specially trained nurses and therapists who safely and efficiently guide them through the recuperation process.
