Metro Health Receives Telly Award

Return to News & Events

Metro Health has received a Telly Award for its "Built to Heal" video.

Metro Health was selected from more than 14,000 entries to receive a bronze Telly for its 30-minutes infomercial on the new hospital.  Written, directed and produced by Metro's Marketing Department, "Built to Heal" gives an insider's look at the new hospital - from the design features that enhance the patient safety to the focus on sustainability to the distinctives that enhance the overall patient experience.

The infomercial aired locally for several weeks leading up to the hospital's move in September 2007.

The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions.  Now in their 29th year, the awards annually showcase the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.

Metro Health has also received several other awards for the special events, communications and marketing initiatives surrounding its 2007 move into the new LEED-certified hospital in Wyoming.
