Metro Health Welcomes Richard Lorenzo, D.O.

Richard Lorenzo, D.O., has joined Metro Health as an obstetrician and gynecologist. Lorenzo, who is board certified, specializes in obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, urogynecology and endometriosis. He will practice in the Hudsonville neighborhood outpatient center located at 3912 32nd Avenue. The newest addition to Metro's expanding network of neighborhood outpatients centers, Hudsonville also offers ophthalmology, sports medicine, physical therapy, ultrasound, mammography, laboratory and X-ray services on an outpatient basis.

Prior to joining Metro Health, Lorenzo was on the staff of Ohio Valley General Hospital in McKees Rocks, Penn. He has also practiced at
Tri-State Obstetrics and Gynecology in Beaver, Penn. 

Lorenzo holds a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Penn., and his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His post-doctoral work includes a residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Lorenzo is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association and other state medical associations.  

A native of Pittsburgh, Lorenzo now resides in Byron Center with his wife, Kerry, and their three children, Isabella, Sofia and Max.
