Mishelle J. Bakewell has joined Metro Health Hospital as community outreach manager. Bakewell brings more than 12 years of health care experience to her new role with the regional health care organization. She will be responsible for identifying community outreach opportunities, developing community relationships, educating staff and the public, and assisting with program and project development and implementation.

She also worked for Hackley Health Management Center as a health educator and as a manufacturing administrator for a medical device company in North Carolina.
