Kevin D. Hess, D.O., Joins Metro Health

Kevin D. Hess, D.O., has joined Metro Health as an obstetrician and gynecologist. Hess, who is board certified, specializes in obstetrics, gynecology and minimally invasive surgery.  He will practice at the Breton Health Center, one of Metro's 12 neighborhood outpatient centers.

Prior to joining Metro Health, Hess was a clinical preceptor for Ross University, St. Martinus University and the University of Sint Estatius, all in Greeley, Colo.  He has also worked as an ob/gyn physician at the Center for Women's Health in Greeley and Horizon Medical PC in Grand Haven.  Additionally, he has served as an urgent care physician at Norton Shores Medi-Center in Muskegon and a physical therapist aid in San Marcos, Calif. 

Hess holds a bachelor of arts in biology from California State University Northridge in Northridge, Calif., and his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif.  His post-doctoral work includes a residency at Mercy General Health Partners in Muskegon.

Hess is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.  

A native of New Jersey, Hess now resides in Grandville with his wife, Tina, and their children, Christian, Jessica and Benjamin.
